Caitlin O'Connor founded OCLA in 2014.
Her passion for design and plants led her to pursue a Bachelors in Architectural Studies (BAS) and a Masters in Landscape Architecture (MLA) from the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. Following this she first gained experience of landscape design interning and under the mentorship of South Africas foremost Landscape Architect Patrick Watson.
Caitlin went on to pursue her career in Paris, where she lived for a number of years, working for an internationally recognised French Landscape Architecture firm Mutabilis Paysage + Urbanism. During this time she contributed to the design development of projects in the UK, the US and France.
Being based in Cape Town now, Caitlin undertakes projects across South Africa and abroad. She has completed and continues undertaking projects located in Europe and across Africa.
